Crock Pot Beans
dollaradaymeals.com
An easy way to cook dry beans. We have been cooking beans this way for years Just recently, I read about bringing the dry beans and water to a boil, then put into crockpot. Will have to try that....will let you know....
2 cups dry beans, sorted and rinsed in a colander. Put into a crock pot with 5 to 6 cups water. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours, until tender. Never add salt/other ingredients until beans are tender, as salt and acidic ingredients inhibit the beans from getting tender.
