MAIN MEAL RECIPE
If I can find thin spaghetti noodles on sale, I prefer to use them in place of the ramen, though it takes longer to cook pasta; 2 oz. of pasta is one serving.
Ramen Spaghetti

2 c. water
1 package (3 oz.) ramen (do not use season packet)**
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. italian seasonings (or to taste)
1 T. cooked hamburger/onion mixture (saved when cooking chili)
1/2 T. dry parmesan cheese
Boil 2 c. water. Break ramen noodles in half, add to boiling water, cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Take off heat. Let sit 6 minutes. Drain. Put tomato sauce, garlic salt, seasonings, meat in pan; cover, heat on low. Add drained ramen; heat all. Put on plate, sprinkle with parmesan. 1 serving.
Broccoli: one serving will be about 1/4th package of 16 oz. frozen chopped broccoli; cook according to package directions.
OR have Green Beans: 1/2 cup is a serving.
Can have a slice of whole wheat bread with this meal, if desired.
